Kara Ranes, LMFT is in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna, Optum, and United Healthcare. Kara is out-of-network with all other insurance plans. Sessions are 50 minutes in length and occur on a weekly or biweekly basis depending on needs of the client. The cash-fee for 50-minute session is $200. A sliding scale is available upon request.

Kara Ranes, LMFT is not in-network with certain insurance providers, however upon request, Kara is happy to provide you with a superbill you can submit to insurance to request coverage with out-of-network benefits. To determine if your insurance coverage includes outpatient therapy sessions with an out-of-network provider, contact your insurance company directly by calling the customer service number found online or on the back of your insurance card.

Kara accepts all major credit cards, cash, and Venmo.

Cancellation Policy

Your therapy session is a time-slot that’s set aside specifically for you. Please provide at least 24 hours notice of cancellation prior to scheduled session. If the session is not cancelled with at least 24 hours notice it’s considered a late-cancel. Late-cancels and no-shows incur the full session fee.
