In February, 2023, Kara was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Kara underwent 6 rounds of chemotherapy and has been cancer-free since. Kara has supported numerous women in her community who are dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis by providing compassionate validation and understanding. Kara understands just how emotionally devastating and scary breast cancer can be and offers therapeutic emotional support to women who are navigating the diagnosis.
